BIOGRAPHY

VanGold, actually Ian Büßing, was born on 24.8.1991 in Mainz, Germany. He was originally trained as an actor. However, through some turbulence his career then meandered through all kinds of jobs. Bistrorante, retail, kiosk, bakery...

What he finally stuck to is his passion for art. He never had any form of training for this, just some inspiration, talent and passion. From 2013 on he started to create a piece of art every single day and used the experience he earned through this to train his skill. Everything you see here he has gradually taught himself.
At some point, his hobby became his lifeblood and the desire to turn it into his main profession.

He has published various fan-comics and artworks on DeviantArt since 2016 and is available as an illustrator for publishers as well as private projects since 2019.
